1. three journals
2. two posters
3. six foldout cover inserts

My thesis application is a series of manifesto statements and short essays. The content is board enough to reference to design in general, yet still associating the ideas to spatial thinking and practice. The series will range across several mediums to emphasize my focus on the interaction between two-dimensional and three-dimensional implications.
These journals, ideas and statements will be used in the future in a collaborative effort to draw connections between design discussions and student designers.

Each notebook has a corresponding three-dimensional insert that has an introductory essay about my thesis manifesto and project. The insert could only be read when flat, yet it could be constructed easily to form a three-dimensional paper sculpture — again in reference to my thesis statement.

The three journals has three short corresponding design manifestos in the beginning of them. The viewer is encouraged to read the short essay and react to it in the following pages. To tell their point-of-view, their experience, their opinion. The three subjects were:

Introduction.
Design is active.
Design is subjective.
Design is intuitive.
